Dr. Charles Hankins is a native of Orlando. A dean's list student, he received his B.A. in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of South Florida, and he graduated from the University of Alabama School of Optometry, Birmingham Medical Center. The School of Optometry is rated Number One in the United States in preparing optometrists to offer modern, comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Hankins has studied and specialized in difficult contact lenses. He has done research in all types of contact lenses and has practiced Optometry for over twenty years. He is board certified in the use of therapeutic drugs for the treatment of eye injuries, eye infections and diseases.
Dr. Hankins also practices Pediatric Optometry and works with children in Amblyopia and Vision Training.
